DESCRIPTION
A 1956 vintage Linkwood, back from the days when sticking a '-Glenlivet' on the end of the distillery name was common in Speyside, distilled in May and bottled in April 1979 by Cadenhead's at 22 years of age.
TASTING NOTES (by Whiskyfun.com)
An hyper-floral and hyper-honeyed nose, with also a lot of wax and notes of old furniture. Hints of high-end scented soap and cologne.Wonderful. The palate is a bit bitterer but still beautiful. Also rose jelly and marzipan. Rich and complex. SGP:835 - 90 points. (and thanks, Heinz)
